Enchanting Summer Wedding at a Historic Bohemian Chateau
The greatest joy of being a destination wedding photographer is the privilege of meeting couples from across the globe. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing couples as far as Hong Kong, Thailand, Russia, Brazil, etc. Regardless of where we hail from, we share common dreams: finding everlasting love, joy, success, and a future with the laughter of children and grandchildren.
Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Ludmila and Sergey’s wedding. These two vibrant souls from Moscow chose a stunning chateau nestled in the heart of the Czech Republic for their special day. The long, warm summer day was simply magical, the perfect setting for their unforgettable outdoor celebration.
Ludmila was absolutely radiant, her joy lighting up the entire chateau. Sergey, always chilled and composed, could barely contain his excitement as he waited for his bride. As music drifted through the air, all eyes turned to Ludmila. Her smile, brighter than the summer sun, shone as her beaming father escorted her to a breathtaking spot beneath an ancient tree on the chateau grounds. Their vows were heartfelt and touching, followed by celebratory champagne, moving toasts, and a dreamy, sun-drenched stroll around the estate.
The entire day was filled with those precious, once-in-a-lifetime moments. Ludmila and Sergey savored every second, from basking in the warm summer sun as they explored the grounds on their own, to a playful and sweet moment when Ludmila, blindfolded, recognized Sergey with just the touch of his face — a moment that brought cheers from everyone. And of course, who can foget the beautiful young, flower girl who gave a small, sweet performance as she stood on her chair as the newlyweds arrived for their dinner.
